Awards...
As well as making new friends, helping the environment and
most importantly having fun, Project can also be used towards a number of
Scouting and External Body awards. Below is a list of the awards that can be
earned, please click on the award's image to find out more.
The Queen Scout's Award and
Chief Scout's Diamond and Platinum Awards
These are the top awards that you can earn in Scouting,
and Project can be used as an Environment Activity (see the
International, Environment and Values Activities List), as part of the
nights away requirement and as the Queen Scout's Award Residential
Challenge.

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award
Project has a long tradition of participants using it to
complete the Residential Project of the Gold Award. To find out more about

The Environment Partnership Award
Every participant of Project is eligible for the Environment
Partnership Award, which recognises the long term benefit on sustainable
development participants have made in the local environment. If participants
have made a positive contribution during their stay, they will be awarded
with this badge at the end of the camp.
The
Explorer Scout Community Activity Badge
This activity badge is awarded to Explorer Scouts who have
taken part in a voluntary community project, which has been of a benefit to
the local community, for at least 25 hours. If participants have made a
positive contribution during their stay, they will be awarded with this
badge at the end of the camp.
